Muay Thai Classes in Kuala Lumpur
There is no shortage of places to hit a bag in KL. There are fewer places where somebody watches you do it and corrects you. Hercules Factory is a Muay Thai gym in Taman Connaught, Cheras, built around coaching rather than class capacity.
Why train Muay Thai in KL at all
Muay Thai is the most efficient hour of exercise most people will ever do — it works your legs, your core and your lungs at the same time, and it holds your attention in a way a stationary bike never will. You are learning something, so you keep turning up. That is the entire trick to fitness that lasts.
It is also genuinely useful. Eight points of contact, footwork, distance, timing, and the composure that comes from having stood in front of someone who is trying to hit you. None of that is theoretical.
And it is sociable in a way most KL gyms are not. You cannot hold pads for someone without talking to them. People arrive alone and end up with a group.
What makes us different from a big-box gym
Class sizes stay small enough that everybody gets real pad rounds with a coach, not a queue behind one. The coach is the same face every week, so your corrections carry over from one session to the next instead of resetting.
There is no lock-in contract designed to keep charging you after you stop coming. There is a trial, single sessions, credit packs and an unlimited pass. Pick what matches how often you will realistically train — the prices are on this page and on the homepage, in full, with nothing to unlock in a sales call.
We are also not a fitness brand that happens to sell kickboxing. The technique taught here is Muay Thai as it is actually fought.
Getting here from around the city
The gym is on Jalan Cerdas in Taman Connaught, off Jalan Cheras — south-east of the city centre and easy to reach against the evening traffic rather than into it. The MRT Kajang Line runs to Taman Connaught station.
That puts us in comfortable range of Cheras, Bandar Tun Razak, Sungai Besi, Seri Kembangan, Balakong, Bandar Sungai Long and Kajang, and reachable from the city centre, Ampang and Bangsar on the way home.
Classes start at 7pm — late enough that a normal KL working day does not rule you out.
Starting
Message us on WhatsApp. Tell us roughly what you are after — fitness, technique, or competition — and we will tell you which class to come to and when.
Come in shorts and a shirt with water. Gloves are provided for your first session, so there is nothing to buy up front and nothing to commit to before you have seen the place.
